Demand for Private Yoga classes on the increase!!

Yes, it is certainly true in my experience and I'm sure I am not the only one where enquiries for private one to one classes have dramatically increased. There are a number of reasons why people choose to have private yoga classes: Here are some typical reasons why people have booked a private class with me:

Logistics of childcare or work

Health and or disability

No car or transport links

Lack of confidence to join a group

Anxiety or depression

Have a specific target to meet on a personal level e.g. to master a headstand or back bend.

Want to mix pilates and yoga practice to target a stronger core

Generally most yoga teachers can schedule a one off private class quite easily, however if you are looking to have private regular classes you need to consider block booking to be sure that you can be accommodated within the limited timescale of your teacher.

I personally love giving private classes as I get to know my clients better and are able to tailor my session to accommodate specific needs. I also love to see the progression made after each visit and see that I have made a difference not only on a physical level but also often on an emotional level. Leaving at the end of a session knowing that your client has the self-confidence to make decisions which will improve their life or the lives of others is quite fulfilling.

Although I have taught Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga I love the visualizations and soft flowing movements of Energy Bock Releases that come from teaching Dru Yoga; the gentle freeing up of the spine, moving it in all directions and delivering it in a way that everyone can join in and benefit, together with visualizations of letting go of unwanted emotions; letting go of the past or simply embracing the future gives you a sense of freedom and sometimes this is all it takes for us to move forward with our lives.

The best way to find a yoga teacher that is right for you is to talk to them, find out what they can do for you. You may want to check out if they are qualified and have the required experience to plan a class around your specific needs. Make sure they have Public Liability Insurance, a First Aid Certificate and a DBS check if teaching yoga for Babies or Children.

I offer the following private classes for £25 within 5 miles from TF7 postcode (either in the comfort of your own home or at a venue to suit you):

Yoga or Pilates classes or a mix of both to adult’s teens and seniors

Pregnancy Yoga

Chair Yoga

Baby Yoga
